Description
Chinese porcelain flower medallions tea bowl, delicately potted, paper thin porcelain with a deep cobalt blue glaze on the body & a pink glazed interior & inset base. Seven dark red glazed auspicious characters circle the inside lip & branching leafy pomegranates within double gilt circles are centered on the inside bottom of the tea bowl. The body of the vase is decorated with a gilt lip & foot, & four floral medallions within ornate cartouches quartered on the body. A gold six character apocryphal Chenghua reign mark within double gold circles is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved traditional Chinese hongmu stand is included. Circa mid century.
