Original Artwork by Jodie Hand ~ Mrs. Hand Painted 2022 Custom Laser Cut Lake Map Shown in photos are Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo County Iowa Each lake map was designed with two layers. The bottom layer is the lake & any rivers etc. painted shades of blue. There may be depth lines engraved on this layer if applicable. The top layer features engravings of major roads, boundary lines, landmarks or pertinent information about the lake. The map is accented with a compass rose & the name of the lake. The map is finished with a simple black mitered frame. If you would like alternate colors, please indicate in the personalization information on your order. You can also request the map without a frame if desired, or rounded corners. Each map will be cut from either birch or maple plywood (light wood).. The bottom layer is painted with acrylic paint. All layers are glued together. I do have other wood options available, but I recommend the light wood as it shows details on the engraving better than darker wood options. The map is available in 16x20 as shown in the photos. I recommend hanging the finished piece with command picture hanging strips for a clean look. An easel is also an attractive way to display the map, or leaning up against the wall as shown. This lake map would be a perfect gift for Fathers Day, Birthday or Christmas.
