This is a super delightful Vintage "Francis the Mule" Ink Blotter. This Cast Metal piece is most likely a Promotional or Gift for the release of the 1951 Movie "Francis goes to the Races". These items are quite rare & very hard to find. Blotter is marked & identified to the movie specifically on the top at the front of the blotter. Super cute, perfect for all kinds of decor & collections. This piece is in excellent vintage condition, super clean & free of any real wear, with only very subtle signs of age & wear.
