A very special ornament. Saint Teresa & Pope Saint John Paul II are great intercessors for the poor, the unborn in danger, & the marginalized of society as precious children of God. "Together, let us make something beautiful for God." ~ Mother Teresa Saint Teresa of Calcutta was the most famous of the servants of God in the Twentieth Century. A very small woman who accomplished amazingly great things, she is a wonderful model for us to trust in God & serve the Lord of Love with our works. On one side of the piece is a small print of a collage I did, using parts of my artwork & found pictures. I used collage because it is about us building something together, "something beautiful for God." On the other side is a colorful image of St John Paul in his famous way of appearing, deep in prayer. I painted this portrait from a photograph, using colored pencils & acrylic paints. Pope John Paul is one of my favorites. He was an apostle for the "culture of life." in my work to help the unborn & their mothers, I often pray for his intercession. This piece measures approximately 1 1/2 by 2 inches. The glass is hand cut & soldered with lead-free solder. Part of the charm of handmade items is the slight variation from piece to piece. These are not made in a factory! Enjoy this medal on a chain or ribbon & hang it in your car or place it in a little shrine or meditation corner in your home. If you put the charm/medal on a key chain, it may get broken if not treated kindly. It is glass. If you want one for a key chain, I can custom make your medium charm/medal with a thicker glass for $3. Small charm/medals don't need thicker glass, but either way, they need to be on a chain before you add them to your key ring.
