English Daisies have long been a staple in large scale public landscaping. in your perennial garden, they are also fantastic for underplanting taller, Spring & Fall blooming flowers such as Tulips. The white flower heads are dotted by a large yellow eye, starting flat & rounding as they reach full bloom. This daisy only stands around 6" tall. Technically considered a biennial, each plant lasts through one season, but continually self-seeds future generations in its place. Removing blooms throughout the growing season will promote continuous blossoms, & reduce the number of plants the following season. The trick - just leave the final blooms in the Fall to allow for reseeding. See below for water, soil type & sun/shade recommendations.
