Nyström & J E Lindberg. They made contacts with the farmer Jonas Bergstrand in Madesjö parish, who owned the land at Pukeberg where the glassworks was established. After a while, Nyström became the sole owner of the glassworks. When Nyström had to file for bankruptcy of the glassworks in 1894, the company was bought by Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in Stockholm, which has long been the mill's largest customer. After a fire in 1893, a new cabin with modern equipment was built. With around 100 workers, the mill became one of the country's largest glassworks in the 1890s. A further development with large exports took place during the period 1905-1930 when the engineer Erik Löthner was head. A new cabin was built in 1913. Pukeberg's earliest production consisted mainly of bottle & household glass. Very soon, production of chimneys, lamp domes & oil houses for kerosene lamps was taken up, where Böhlmark had large sales. Early on, press glasses were also made (plates, plates, bowls, drinking glasses, wine glasses, sugar & cream bowls, carrots & candlesticks). stig Kärrstrand For Pukeberg Glass Factory - Art Horse Sculpture 1970s Sweden.
