QUALITY: Arkwright Cheesecloth is made from natural food grade cotton (unbleached, never dyed cloth). Made of 100% cotton, this unbleached muslin fabric is durable, washable & reusable. It's absorbent, which makes it ideal for making hung curd, soy milk, cottage cheese & more. OPTIONS: Grade 50 Cheesecloth - 630 Sq. Ft. / 70 Sq. Yards/ 28x24 Squares Grade 60 Cheesecloth - 540 Sq. When we talk about our grade 50, 60 or 90 cheesecloth, one of the things that stand out is the durability & lifespan of the cloth. Not only is the cheesecloth strong, it also is reusable many times over. WASHABLE: Wash in the washing machine or by hand in the sink. Avoid detergents & fabric softeners. Use only mild detergent if necessary, & rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue. If there are bits of curd sticking to the cloth, rinse with whey or white vinegar to help remove it. DIMENSIONS: Extra Large Size Length is equal to 50, 60 or 70 Yards depending on the grade you choose. While most cheese cloths are only 2-5 Yards long, ours is 50-70 Yards long, which makes it most suitable for bulk use. Threads & Squares are 28x24, 32x28, or 44x36 depending on the grade. (See options above). USEAGE: It is ideal for straining stocks as well as canning. Use it for basting or stuffing poultry. It is also useful when making soft cheeses that need a mesh wrap.
