Straight from a local collection comes this beautiful & elegant flow blue plate measuring about 9 3/4" in diameter. It's hallmarked: MADE in ENGLAND ExPRESSIVELY FOR JOSEPH HORNE & Co PITTSBURG The dark blue transfer ware is likely an image of the English Cathedral, Winchester I believe, though I don't know for sure. If you recognize it, let me know if I'm correct or not. in good preowned antique condition, the plate shows minimal wear & no overt damage nor repair. There is a faint hairline (mostly seen on the back) to the left of the cathedral at around what would be the 8 O'Clock spot. For that reason this is sold as is/as found. This is an acceptable condition for a collector & does not detract nor devalue the plate considerably. I have priced the plate with this hairline in mind.
