I remember all students in Yugoslavia taking tapestry making lessons among all other handicraft courses. My first & only tapestry had a rainbow & sun motive on it. It decorated the kitchen wall of my grandma Mimi for a long time, but unfortunately it did not last like many other tapestries she loved to make. Thankfully this vintage weaving that was made in the 1970's survived to this day. It has a typical mid century modern pattern in natural earthy tones. It's wall art handmade from wool.
