By means of a sophisticated computer software program, your photos can be modeled into a three dimensional design. The 3D image is then etched with high quality green laser into a flawless piece of optically clear solid crystal that can last forever. We can then laser your photo into our crystals utilizing the highest quality standards. Make sure when you upload your photo that it is well illuminated, in a high resolution & is not blurred. Your photo may show one, two or up to three people.(Depends on the size) HOW DO YOU MAKE THE 3D Laser IMAGES? Photo crystals are made using a special laser that focuses its concentrated beams of light to a precise point below the surface of the crystal. Each bright point in the image is plotted in the final crystal piece. The laser then focuses a high-powered beam on each three-dimensional coordinate. Once the beam reaches the focal point, the powerful laser pulse makes a tiny void or inclusion inside the crystal. Then the laser moves to the next coordinate & makes another etched point. Finally, enough points are created to reproduce the design deep within the crystal. As laser beams are non-invasive, no marks or blemishes are left on the surface of the crystal. When viewed from any angle the intricate design is viewed much like a three dimensional sculpture. How does the laser process work? The laser is focussed into the glass, in the focal point the energy is so high that the structure is change in a small point. The laser beam is computer controlled, an image made of thousand small points is the outcome. This laser process is the so called "Vitrography". How do I get my 2D image engraved into a 3D image?
