This sweet find dates to the 1990s & is an adorable & sweet ceramic miniature figural hinged box that has an ornate gold tone metal rim with a butterfly clasp & little miniature shoes on top. The little box is handpainted, & it is unmarked. It measures approximately 3" wide, 1 3/4" deep, & 2 1/8" tall. The box has very nice detail, & as someone who used to collect the Limoges boxes, I can say that this one seems to be a very nice quality, nicer than many of the little replicas that I have seen in the past. I also noticed that a lot of the high end Herend boxes are similarly styled & decorated. in very good preowned vintage condition, the Limoges style miniature is free of damage or repair. It would look good by itself or with a collection of other miniatures. Please be sure to view all the photos carefully & zoom in for details.
