A McFly foam egg with a thin veil, on a jig hook with a tungsten bead. Egg patterns can be extremely effective during spawning. The veil adds a little something different. Some anglers swear that they tend to land more fish on veiled egg patterns due to the fact that trout tend to get their teeth slightly stuck in the veil. I'm not sure if that is accurate, but I know they bring in fish regardless. This pattern is tied on 1x short, barbless, black nickel finished, wide gape jig hooks. These hooks reduce snags as they tend to ride point up. They are also easy to remove & less harmful to fish. This listing is for 6 flies. I will use a gold bead on peach, fl. peach, apricot, yellow/McCheese, steelhead orange & use silver on the rest. If you prefer a different color, just let me know (I have silver, gold, orange black nickel & copper). Please message me with any custom orders.
