User name textiletrunk A lovely panel of Vintage French curtain dating sometime around 1930-1950 ~ This fabric has a gorgeous sheen. It feels like silk, but it might be rayon! Usually I can tell the difference quickly, but this has me doubting it's silk, but also not convinced it's rayon! :) If my life depended on it, I would say it's a heavy weight silk! ~ So, this fabric has a silky texture, floppy hand ~ medium to heavy weight fabric! Scenes of a castle & floral bouquets ~ The trim is along the bottom & left side! The trim is faded with time ~ I( please see my other textiles for the matching panel! MEASUREMENTS: This Wonderful fabric measures 55 inches by 98 inches long ~ CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. This panel is in lovely condition with some missing bobbles on the trim ( please use the zoom feature on the photographs ) & the trim has come unsewn from the fabric in one spot ~ the trim is wonderfully faded with time. There is some wear on this panel, but generally it's in lovely condition for it's age & use!
