Description
A nice hand thrown studio pottery vase made by Kenneth Keppers (1952-2017) of Turtle Lake Wisconsin. His work was primarily wood fired. This large floor vase is nicely thrown & has good thickness with a built in drip tray on the base. It is made from a natural brown stoneware clay with a white glaze inside & white glaze around the rim that flows down the sides of the vase randomly. The drip tray is also glazed white on the top surface. This large vase measures 16" tall by 7" wide & it weighs 9 pounds. It is signed on the side of the drip tray KEPPERS. The condition is nice & original on this vintage Wisconsin pottery vase. A tiny bit of dirt residue is seen inside which should clean up nicely.
