This gorgeous cab is one of Lisa Zador's, based on one of her anthropomorphic paintings. I paired it with a very deep & murky Leland Blue stone, & below an exquisite porcelain charm made by Majoyoal. Surrounding are an assortment of Czech glass beads & these beautiful matte, 22 karat gold plated beads. Mr. Peanut is an amazing American icon that I associate with going to ball parks & fairs & even the hot nut purveyors in department stores when I was a kid. But there's also something just a bit sinister about him with his affected dandy ways & the top hat & eye patch you just know he doesn't really need. Or is it just me? & is there a certain 21st century ne'er-do-well who has adopted the peanut's swagger as his own? I'll let you think about it. Moving on along, I backed the pendant with some Sixties-ish, absolutely over-the-top printed cork leather that seemed like something the peanut would approve of during his off-time hitting the sun lamp in Florida in winter. It measures 2 1/4 by 6 inches. The necklaces is made of the soft red braided leather that I love to use & it measures 18 1/4 inches with extension to 20 inches.
