The Unicorn in Captivity Art Nouveau vintage styled necklace ~ A piece based on the beautiful Unicorn Tapestries, a series of seven tapestries done in the years 1495 to 1505. It was commissioned by Anne of Brittany to celebrate her marriage to Charles VIII, King of France. We've set this artwork into a beautiful Art Nouveau necklace design. The pendant measures 1-3/16" across (30mm) & the artwork is covered by a crystal clear, domed glass cabochon which protects & enhances the image a truly beautiful effect! The necklace closes with a lobster clasp & has a 2" extension chain, so an 18" necklace will adjust up to 20", a 21" necklace adjusts up to 23", etc. If you would prefer to not have the extension chain, please leave us a note at checkout.
