From a local collection, this is a really beautiful Southern Art pottery cream pitcher hand made by Polly the Potter of Atlanta Georgia. Polly is an Atlanta local & I've actually known her for over 25 years. She's been making her beautiful bright whimsical pottery for decades now & can be seen around Atlanta in businesses & homes. This terrific handmade pitcher measures approximately 5 inches tall by about 9 inches from handle to spout. The pitcher is one of several pieces I'm offering of Polly's works. It's one from her whimsical series of ceramics with bright colors & raised designs with swirls & geometrics. This pitcher has a dark purple background with yellow & black & red raised designs. It's signed on the bottom "...Polly made me..." Polly still makes beautiful ceramic pieces & teachers pottery in the Metro Atlanta area. While it looks great & is completely functional, it does have a substantial chip on the inside lip. You can see it in my photos. For that reason I am selling this as is & it is priced accordingly.
