This is a vintage original watercolor painting by Artist Joe Long. The painting shows an American landscape with an old barn & barbed wire fence in the foreground. There are birds flying in a cloudy sky in the background. The entire seen reflects the golden light of sunset. There are touches of red in flowers around the barbed wire fence, & in the shadows inside the barn. The painting has been signed on the lower left by the artist. The painting has a pale sage-colored mat, with cream inner trim. The painting is ready to frame in a standard 16 inch by 20 inch frame. The painting should be framed under glass, or acrylic. Condition: The painting is in very good condition. I removed old masking tape that had been used to fix the painting to the mat, & replaced it with acid-free tape. The mat is also vintage, & the color has washed out somewhat due to age. in the photo that shows one corner of the mat, you can see that the very edge of the mat is darker. The edges will be covered by a frame.
