The centerpiece of this cribbage board is Saddleback Mountain - milled from a solid 4" round chunk of 6061 Aluminum. This mountain carving shows Saddleback Mountain & it's surrounding topography in stunning detail. Someone familiar with the mountain can spot the details from the Kennebago Steeps all the way to the Wooly Bugger Glades. 'Saddleback' is engraved on the 10.5" round walnut cribbage board as well as the peak elevation of 4,121 ft, & the compass directions. The board is full sized with 120 holes to peg, & additional peg holes are provided to mark Games, Corners, & Skunks. To ensure the accuracy of this 3D topographic carving, the elevation data is obtained from the USGS & the pieces are carved with a CNC router in my workshop in Portland, ME. Underneath the mountain is a pocket for peg storage. On the bottom of the Mountain itself, the name of the mountain & a north symbol are engraved. Love the piece but want a different mountain?
