I obtained a small collection of these fantastic very old clock mechanisms. I know that some people take them apart & sell the gears as steampunk accessories, but I think they are striking sculptural pieces as they are. I envision these as bookends or decorative pieces in a library, study, or shop. I am not a clock expert, so I can't tell you if this one is complete or able to be re-installed in a clock. Most of the clock movements I find are American, but this one is marked "JE IL Made in Korea 237". I suspect that it is probably several decades old, maybe mid-century. This measures about 7 1/4" tall by 6 7/8" wide & it's about 4 1/2" thick. It weighs about 1 3/4 pounds. FREE shipping within the United States.
