The objects: Amazing pair of classic Mcm Styled Vase & matching bowl/dish in a vibrant mustard yellow with black stripging. It was decorated by hand, giving it a unique touch. The set was crafted in the 1975 at the Rörstrand factory as part of the special "Drejargruppen" works. A brilliant mid-century piece! in great vintage condition with only very minor signs of wear & scratches as per photos - glaze still vibrant & fresh. ATTN! The bowl has a very minor chip long the bottom edge as per last photo, however, the price only reflects the vase - the dish comes at no additional charge. Approximately dimensions: Bowl/dish diameter 17 cm Vase height 21,5 cm The artist: Drejargruppen was an artist collective that worked within Rörstrand (porcelain brand) during the 1970s. The members of the group were never published at that time, but the estate was signed only with the word Drejargruppen & year. Drejargruppen's products were in time & with their consumer-friendly style, the collections became one of Rörstrand's sales successes in the 1970s. From 1974, the goods were exported, first to the factory's large foreign markets, Germany & the United States. in the same year, about ten turners & decorators worked in the Turn group: the turners Robert Weidinger & Arne Käll. Gösta Millberg was a decorative painter. Other members were the turner Jim Fredriksson, Bodil Metzler, Stellan Fogelquist, Kerstin Carlsson, Lennart Broberg, Hans Schroedter & Kurt Bergsten. in the early 1980s, only Gösta Millberg contributed new models. He later had to design art series with his own signature. The Drejargruppen's work ceased with the new investment in Rörstrand's art department in 1981-82, when artists & designers were hired again.
