Royal Flash has all the Richard Lester trademarks, it's hyperactive, spontaneous, & thoroughly British. As he did with anarchic glee in "A Hard Days Night" & the Musketeer movies, the characters, & visual style are slapstick, comic, & broad. This original theatrical movie poster from 1975 was printed in the United States. The poster features a design by renowned French artist Rene Ferracci for the first release of the film. It's glossy with high contrast & minor surface & edgewear. This "Half Sheet" is in nice shape & will look fantastic framed. Please refer to the Photo detail & the grading status in the "9-GRADE" System graphs in the photo log. Lithographs with light surface wear are common for posters of this age (See Photo detail). Magnets were used in the photography of these posters so as to limit handling & wear. These magnets are silver & visible in photographs in each of the poster's (4) corners. Please Note: These Posters are anywhere from 20-70 years old & were issued to movie theaters at the time of the film's release. All Posters came through Auction, Gallery purchase, or from the original movie theater proprietors. Although all posters are stored FLAT & carefully maintained, original poster art of this age can never be in perfect unused condition as it was originally displayed in a Movie Theater.
