Handmade ceramic birdhouse sculptures ready to decorate your garden this spring! These birdhouses are small decorative art that have a hollow hole on the bottom to place them upon a wooden dowel for display. For decorative purposes only - select your style from the drop down menu! Style 1: Wooden birdhouse with a tin roof Style 2: Wooden blue birdhouse with a green wooden roof Style 3: Copper roof birdhouse stump style You may select from all three or just one. Measurements: Wooden Blue Birdhouse - 3.5 inches tall 1 & 6/8 inch depth 2 inch width 6/8th inch hole opening Wooden birdhouse with tin roof - 4 1/2 inches tall Copper Birdhouse - 5.5 inches tall Each birdhouse is handmade in my ceramic studio using the slip-casting method. The birdhouse is removed from the vintage ceramic mold, cleaned & fired in the kiln. Once fired it is cooled & removed from the kiln to be cleaned again before painting. Each birdhouse has many coats of paint that are preserved with a clear varnish. They may be displayed in warm weather but are recommended to bring inside once temperatures become cool in the fall.
