Description
This is a white cotton Red Cross uniform dress with an asymmetric henley style button placket & side pockets. The dress has belt loops but the belt is missing. This uniform was worn by a member/volunteer of the Auxiliary of the G.A.R. I can't tell from the handwriting on the card that was attached to this uniform if it is dated as 1918 or 1928. I tend to think 1928 although it was included in a lot of Victorian & Edwardian clothing so I'm not certain. Excellent vintage condition!
