Old straw hat done in a unique style...like a mans cap but with an oversized bill. I think the woven part is straw & the web pattern underneath...may be bamboo. Very nicely constructed hat...perfect for sun protection. I think the age of the hat is much older than 60's but I'm not positive. The tie on hat, is plastic & I don't think it's original to hat. You'll want to take care when wearing & storing this hat. Just reduced! Hat measures 11 1/2" front to back & just under 9" side to side; inside brim is 21" around; hat is about 3 1/2" at tallest.
