From a local collection, this is a really beautiful Southern Art pottery vase or container made by renowned South Carolina potter Jim Weber. It measures approximately 3 1/2 inches tall by about 3 3/4 inches wide. It has a lovely shape & a beautiful glaze that looks different depending on the light. To me it looks like a pink/mauve color but you can also see undertones of blue & gray & there are also specks of color. It's very nice & it's a piece of redware as well. in very good preowned vintage condition, the piece is completely free from any damage or repair & would be elegant to use it with flowers or as a pencil or pen container or to display with other ceramics.
