This is a beautiful mid 1800s French Victorian Catholic reliquary complete & a heart shaped brass hinged box. It is just filled with ancient relics that are labeled & intact. The little box fits nicely in the hand & it has a warm unpolished patina. The box measures about 3 inches x around 2 7/8 inches. My last picture should give you an idea of the size. I haven't had a reliquary like this for a very long time & usually only see them in museums or books. in very good preowned antique condition, this is incredibly intact & in preserved collectible condition.
