This interesting souvenir creamer, a souvenir depicting The Old Wentworth Mansion, Portsmouth N H is backstamped BFHS China Austria. BFHS is an acronym for Benjamin F Hunt & Sons, Boston. This mark was used by Hunt during the time he was in partnership with Karl Speck, Elbogen Austria (1897 - 1901). This piece was made exclusively for H C Hopkins Department Store, Portsmouth New Hampshire. the creamer stands 4" tall & is 2" in diameter. This piece is pristine condition, the transfer image & the gold decoration show little to no wear. What a fascinating addition this will be for any collection or decor.
