The thing that sets our bowls apart is the FINISH. It's not a "dull wood" finish. We have a special bees wax aging finish that we apply to all of our bowls. It takes an already distressed bowl & makes it look OLD & WARM & very primitive. & it STAYS that way for the life of the bowl. It is smooth to the touch & it is beautiful. Rick does these FISH-shaped bowls exactly like our dough bowls. He leaves the carving marks in the wood before waxing & buffing them with our special ageing bees wax. Perfect (and useful!) for any number of things. Some people use them to add a special touch to that special gift. Others turn them into wonderful little candle holders (I've seen them take aquarium crystals & sink tea candles into them. They make great little candy dishes or catch-alls too Just about anything you can dream up! NO two are ever exactly alike. The fish bowl you SEE is the ExACT one you will Receive.
