Description
This is a set of miniature unpainted weatherproof roof tiles for DIY dollhouses or fairy garden projects. These resin mini shingles have a curved bottom & are detailed to resemble wood. They are purposefully made to look slightly cartoony for a more rustic or playful appearance, making them great for fairy houses & gnome homes, & they're waterproof for outdoor use. Each shingle is 5/8" (1.6 cm) long, approximately 1/2" (1.3 cm) wide, & just over 1/16" (0.2 cm) thick, with very minor variations for a more fanciful appearance. The detail is on the front side & edges only; the back of these pieces are flat & undetailed. These piece started out as originals that I handmade in oil-based clay. I use silicone rubber to make a mold, capturing every detail from my original sculptures. The mold is poured with urethane resin. It also comes with an instruction guide with painting tips.
