Aka Cosmos sulphurus. Annual. Full sun. These extremely easy to grow annual plants are excellent as cut flowers. Use in beds, containers & mass plantings for an eye pleasing effect. Lovely 2"-3" silky blooms in a rich color palette of red, orange & yellow hues atop lacy green foliage. To grow: Sow directly (preferred) after all chance of frost has passed. Soil temps of 60o preferred. The seed can be started up to 5 weeks ahead indoors but will need warmth to germinate. Harden off before transplanting will be required. Cosmos will bloom for a very long season. From summer into fall, usually until first frost. They are well loved by pollinators & beneficial insects!
