Description
A pair of carved shoes from the 1940s, a souvenir from The Philippines. The heel has a carved & painted village scene. Attached to the wood are embroidered velvet strappy top. The peep-toe top has 3 flowers embroidered on dark maroon velvet. The straps at the back are red. The inside soles are painted red with flowers & the word Philippines. They are still in good condition for their age, although a bit worn. The top is missing one stud on the left shoe holding the top in place. A nice curiosity for a shelf. The measure 9" from toe to back of heel bottom measurement, the ball of the shoe measures 2 5/8" across from the bottom & the heels are 2 3/4" high.
