Wonderful Ashland Bay Merino 64's in a deep & moody purple color called Crocus. This is an earthy & dark purple as opposed to Violet or even just plain Purple from Ashland Bay - much like the depth of Navy but more deep purple. It would work well for a night sky. The pictures are bluer than the actual color but my camera loves blue & dislikes purple. The creme de la creme' of fine merino as soft as can be, wonderful for spinning & any kind of felting!
