Vintage President Lopez Portillo Commemorative Watch. Mystery Dial, Gold Plated Over Stainless Steel Swiss Made Wind-Up Watch. This is a rare vintage watch. The watch utilizes a mechanical movement. I tested the watch & it is keeping time. A full charge of the watch should last 1 day & a half. The dial is original, factory dial, color & condition are as pictured. The dial is stamped: 1976 de 1982. At six the watch is signed SWISS MOVT. The watch uses a rotating dial in place of watch hands - please see video. The watch dial is stamped LA HORA DE MExICO LOPEZ PORTILLO which roughly translates to the time of Mexico with the name of former President Lopez Portillo. The watch case & band are made of stainless steel & are plated with gold. The back case of the watch is stamped DUSTPROOF STAINLESS STEEL BACK BASE METAL CASE. The watch movement is stamped ONE JEWEL UNADJUSTED. The watch has a fluted crown that works properly. The watch case measures 35.8 mm without the crown & 41.7 mm from lugs to lugs.
