Description
This is a solid aluminum skull I created to look decomposed. I started by making a mold of a skull. Then I created a negative casting in petrobond sand & adjusted it so parts were missing. Next I melted aluminum at 1400 degrees Fahrenheit & poured it into the mold. Next it is cooled cleaned up & an aluminum coffin stand is TIG welded to it to hold it up. It weighs in at 1 lb. 3 oz. of solid aluminum. Since these are all hand made one at a time no two will ever look the same I will update the photo as each new one is available.
