Ever seen those fantastically landscaped aquariums that seem to have both land & water in one tank? These are the types of plants that work with a riparium "swampland" set up! Easy care, & undemanding, these are best for damp, but not excessively soggy soil. They are equally at home in a bog, Paludarium hybrid set-up, however! These will need a bright window, without direct sunlight. You'll scorch the leaves in a sunbeam! Mine do very well under a covered porch in the summers here in Kansas. If you'd like to transition these to a swamp or boggy tank, I would suggest slowly acclimating these guys to a much more damp environment over a matter of weeks. Water daily, so the plant gets used to having a lot of water around. Perhaps place the pot in a shallow few inches of water in the last few days. Finally, remove the plant's roots from the potting soil, & giving them a gentle wash before landscaping in your riparium set up! As in the sample photos above, there will be some variation in size & branching. It's just the nature of the beast.
