A beautiful & colorful wall art quilt by some ladies of Peru. This is depicting the daily life of cotton farmers of the area of Peru. It is a quilted art piece with many little people dolls sewn onto the quilt for a 3 D effect. It is hand embroidered & all the pieces are put on the quilt with a hand embroidery stitch. Very nice wall art. It even has little sacks of cotton & cotton on the plants. Fun piece to look at & enjoy the workmanship. Someone also finished the edge of this piece in a crocheted stitch. Also included with this piece is a note in the pocket on the back written by the women who made this. See photos for note. Roughly translated as: This picture represents the harvest of cotton where the farmers they work daily so that making ourselves reach the market stores.
