Original may still be available The Spring House, located on hillside just above the Old Harbor, is the granddaddy of all historic Mansard-roof style hotels on Block Island. Popular for weddings, it is known as much for its Adirondack chairs as its grand view of the Atlantic Ocean. Behind the hotel is a barn with a first-class modern restaurant.
