As you visit a state, slide the state into the slot. Unlike a paper map, this map is a treasure that will last for decades. Your map will come with a small stand to set it upright on a shelf, as well as two decorative bags to store the states in until the time comes to place them on the map. The map measures 10" tall by about 16.5" wide. The map itself is made of hand stained wood, & each individual state is made of painted birch.
