A beautiful, bright white Goebel Military Woman Figurine is the next item up for your consideration. This lovely collectible, hailing from 1971, clearly marked on bottom "Goebel, W. Germany". Embossed with LF12, 1971 #39. On top back is the original design artist signature "Bochman". The full name is Gerhard Bochman, only last name is on figurine. Measuring: 8" tall x 2 7/8" deep x 2 7/8" wide. The condition is exceptional. We have a French military woman, "Cantiniere", dressed circa 1809. Despite the uniform, these women were civilians who roamed the camps giving food, water, which was supplied by them. There are other figurines available with them dressed in colored outfits, this is bright white Porcelain, which is striking.
