Avoid the risk of your engraver messing up & having to purchase a new coin (We do not take returns on buyer engraved coins). If our engraver messes up, it's on us & we give him another coin to do. We gave our engraver 4 coins to practice on & he used every one getting the templates for the top & bottom engraving plates set & getting the font & depth of engraving right. The top plate will have your first & last name (or, at engraver's discretion, first initial & last name if you have a long name) & the bottom plate will have the date you took the oath in military format, ie., January 6, 1997 will be 06 JAN 1997.
