Choose a 4 inch pot or 6 inch planter Small drainage hole I use a water resistant sealer on inside & outside of the pots where the design goes. Water resistant is not waterproof. These are all natural terra cotta clay. Clay is very absorbent. If you want to use a live plant in this decorative planter, I would suggest a pot insert, to avoid water seeping through the clay if you wish to preserve the design I have created. Water resistant means the pot will be fine outside on a porch but not in severe weather. Heavy water or bright sun beating on the pot all day will fade the design.
