This listing is for 1 grafted desert rose that will be shipped bareroot & without foliage. Adeniums are sun loving, heat resistant plants. They don't need much maintenance. Their ideal climate is hot & dry. Water them regularly but make sure they dry out before watering again. That is the key to making sure root rot doesn't become a problem. WINTER NOTICE: Adeniums are sensitive to freezing temperatures. They will die if left out or delivered with temperatures under 33o. Please keep this in mind when placing an order during the winter months. IMPORTANT:Please keep in mind that when plants are put in a box & shipped out, the leaves will probably turn yellow. It's nothing to be alarmed about, it is due to shipping stress. Simply remove the yellowing leaves to help promote new growth. PLANTING MATERIAL: ~1) 6 inch container per plant ~Potting soil (I use a peat based soil made up of peat moss, perlite, & vermiculite.) If you can't make your own, Miracle-Gro potting soil is a good substitute. ~Fertiler (I use Osmocote 14-14-14) You can also use something equivalent. PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS: When plant arrives, you will probably find yellow leaves on it. No need to panic, it's due to shipping stress. Go ahead & remove from plastic bag & remove any yellowing leaves. Plant it in your selected planting material & water thoroughly. Place in a sunny location & wait for soil to dry out before watering again. Repeat this in a consistent manner. Its very important to allow the soil to dry before re watering as to avoid rot & promote healthy growth. Plants are 4-6 inches tall & have a caudex of about 1 inches in diameter.
