Description
Children's Corner pattern Katina is a darling jumper or sundress smocked front & back below a shaped yoke. Shoulder straps button to the front yoke which can also be trimmed with piping or flat trim like eyelet. You can make this style as casual or dressy as you like with your choice of fabrics! This particular pattern was issued in 1981 & is still in production today with different size ranges & a color photo. I have this pattern available in three size ranges, sold separately. The size 3-4 shown in the first three photos, is uncut & unused, in very good condition for its age. The envelope is lightly yellowed, & there is some sticker residue. The size 7-8, shown in the last three photos, is cut & lightly used, with all pieces intact as well as the instructions. The size 5-6 shown in photos #4 & 5 is the earliest version of Katina, with a sketch of just the dress itself illustrating the envelope cover. The other two sizes I have are the next version of Katina, which picture a child wearing the dress. The 5-6 is also uncut & unused, in excellent condition for its age. Please note, each of these contains just ONE size dress; for instance the size 3-4 is ONE size meant to cover a size 3 & a size 4. Of course the fit is loose with this type garment. This easy to make dress was designed by Sharon Wiegart. It does not include a smocking design. You will want to choose approximately a 5-6 row design. I have made many Children's Corner patterns, & they are excellent classics. If you haven't tried them yet, you are in for a treat.
