It only fits on the top of your head, measure at your brow line, top of the ears to the back of your head. It should not come below your ears. The beanie comes in many colors & five different sizes. XTRA XTRA-LARGE (2X) For the person whose head measures 24"-25" around or 60.9cm - 63.5cm. The beanie is 7 1/2" or 19.05cm tall. This would be if you have lots of hair & just lots of brain. XTRA-LARGE measures aprox. 23"-24" or 58.42 - 60.96cm round. The beanie is 7" or 17.78cm tall. If you have a lot of hair or a bigger head, I would order this one. Large measures: aprox. 21"-22" or 53.34cm - 55.88cm round. The beanie is 6.5" or 16.51cm tall. This size is a normal mens size. Medium measures: aprox. 19"-20" or 48.26cm-50.8cm round.
