Description
A charming oil painting of a horse. It is a nice painting by a naive artist. The horse is brown with a black mane. A closeup of the head & neck of the horse with a landscape in the background. The painting is on a Permanent Pigments canvas board. There is no signature or date but that canvas board is from the 1940s-50s. The painting is framed in that it is stapled to the back of a frame that is too small for the painting. I won't remove the frame for fear of damage. Luckily it is nailed at the edges, but one staple is in the painting by about 1/2" Measures 15 1/2" x 18 1/2 3/4" with frame & the painting is 14" x 18" Portrait Of A Horse Oil Painting On A Permanent Pigments Canvas Board Framed
