They thrive in hot summer weather, can be grown in large containers, or make a wonderful garden screen. Canna lilies (Canna indica) are tropical & subtropical herbaceous perennials that produce lush, colorful flower spikes during summer. Their large & showy paddle-shaped leaves add to their exotic look. Make sure you plant outside after all chance of frost has passed. Likes a LOT of SUN & WATER! The more sun & water these get, the bigger the plant will get. A popular summer-flowering bulb, Cannas produce large green/yellow foliage, with orange flowers at the top.
