This clay painting shows a fluid, radiant sunset & a person doing a headstand in silhouette. Approximately 12 inches wide by 7" tall by .5" deep. It hangs on the wall on a nail or screw that catches a deep groove carved under the top back. It is made with colored porcelain slips on a crude, speckled stoneware clay. The clay bloated a little in the firing, giving it an especially organic, wabi sabi cave person quality. A bright & fascinating piece of original ceramic art.
