Part of my new series of Astrological Zodiac Signs. This one features Aries, restored from a late 19th Century Dutch Antiquarian Print by printmaker Henri Van Der Stock. / / / / ABOUT MY PRINTS / / / / My shop features my original art & designs as well as restored Antiquarian prints & ephemera that I've collected over the years. I spend a great deal of time restoring my antique prints & redesigning them to work as wall art, giving them new life with rich colors, fine linework, crisp detail, & a range of wall art sizes. While I do clean up any flaws in the original prints, I also retain the antique qualities of the original prints such as aged paper marks & any other details that see important to its authenticity. / / / / PRINT QUALITY / / / / As an artist & designer, quality is very important to me & through much experimentation I've developed a process & set of materials that create the highest quality Giclée prints you'll find anywhere. They are printed with archival inks (rated up to 200 years) on Archival 100% cotton (no trees!) heavy-weight Fine Art Paper that has a slight texture similar to watercolor paper which gives the prints a beautiful velvet-like matte finish. These are fine art Giclée prints - not posters! / / / / PRINT SIZE / / / / This print comes in a variety of sizes. Depending on the size, the dimensions of the artwork will change slightly. Standard sizes such as 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, & 24" x 30" have more margin around the image. The wider sizes such as 11 x 17, 19.75 x 27.5 (IKEA RIBBA), have a little less margin (refer to the photos which show an 11x14 & 11x17). Most of my prints are available in standard 8" x 10", 11" x 14", 16" x 20", 19.75" x 27.5", & 24 x30 sizes with a few exceptions. Several prints are also available in larges sizes up to 40" x 60". My 19.75" x 27.5" prints are sized to fit in IKEA's large 'Ribba' frames with no matting.
