This listing is for an original hand painted 'Children of the Sun' watercolour design on handmade 'Khadi' paper, with hand-stitched gold thread embroidery embellishment. (The images here were from a private commission but I will do my best to match them unless otherwise requested). This is art for meaningful occasions, nurturing spaces, & those you treasure. Designed myself, using professional materials throughout the process, each piece is created & painted by hand with a variety of pigment watercolours, making it as wonderfully unique as the person receiving it! ~ Artwork is on the utterly unique handmade Khadi ® papers - 320gsm & made from 100% long fibred cotton rag. Khadi ® create beautiful, ethically sourced papers & has set up its own handmade paper mill in Karnataka, South India. Created with the help of hundreds of years of local tradition, it is an authentically unique surface for every sheet; ~ The Sennelier watercolour paints I use have been produced in the same way for more than a century using the best pigments, resulting in an unrivalled intensity & liveliness of colour; Signed & dated (on the back) the artwork is unframed so that you can select a frame to suit your special space. If you would like to send it to the recipient directly, I am happy to include a short handwritten note (modern calligraphy style on fine notepaper) & will present it together in tissue paper sealed with a painted sticker. PLEASE NOTE: No filters are used in my photographs. Colours may vary slightly, depending upon your monitor/screen settings. Please keep artwork out of direct sunlight or ask your framer for UV glass to avoid fading. This artwork is supplied without a frame so that you can choose your own.
